RE:  Reunion of Davao City High School’s March 1992 graduates

.

.

I. OBJECTIVE

.

1. KAMUSTAHAN. A get-together of Davao City High School’s March 1992 graduates after fifteen (15) years from high school graduation.

.

2. SEC REGISTRATION. We aim to officially register our batch as a legal organization with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

.

3. FUNDING. We aim to raise funds to support future projects by the batch for our alma mater.

.

4. BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. We aim to bridge business contacts through the reunion meet. For clarificatory purposes, the planning and organizing of the reunion itself is not a “business opportunity” but rather, a mode of putting on track the batch’ business with the alma mater’s alumni organization.

5. CORE GROUP. We aim to identify individuals who can further help in the future planning and organization of reunion meets and implement the batch’ prospected projects.

.

6. RECONCILIATION. We aim to make the reunion as a venue for batchmates to iron out high school differences, misunderstandings, soured friendships, etc.

III. DATE

.

          Majority of the feedbacks taken expressed interest for the reunion to be held this December. Thus, the date December 29, 2007 (Saturday) is slated by the planning group present in the 12 September meeting.

IV. VENUE

.

          Collective preference: Downtown area only for accessibility reason. On 12 September 2007’s meeting, the planning group voted unanimously for Bar 1 in Venue Compound, Jacinto Ext. corner Quirino Sts., Davao City to be the venue of the reunion. Mrs. Beverly Engracia-Alvarez, formerly of section Garcia (part-owner of the bar), has officially reserved Bar 1 for our 29 December 2007 event with the receipt of the deposit made by the batch on 1 October 2007.

          Bar 1 will cost P80,000.00 (this is with special discount) and will be available on the reunion date from 6:00 am ’til "sawa." This cost will cover the following:

.

          1. Exclusivity of the venue;

          2. Physical design;

          3. "Eat all you can" buffet;

          4. Bar 1 raffle prizes;

          5. DJ’s fee;

          6. Ticket printing; and

          7. Security.

.

         Corkage fee will be collected on alcoholic drinks brought inside the venue.

V. PARTICIPATION

.

  1. Planning Group

          All batchmates present in the meetings scheduled shall consist the Planning Group.

.

  2. Adopt a Batchmate

         It is acknowledged that not all of our batchmates can afford to take part in our reunion with a registration fee imposed. In order to accommodate all that are willing to partake in our reunion, “Adopt a Batchmate” is suggested wherein an overseas-based batchmate shall handle the registration fee of a local-based batchmate.   3. Pre-listing of participants on the date scheduled

   4. Exclusivity

          As mentioned above, Bar 1 shall be exclusive only for our event on December 29, 2007, however, each batchmate may bring along his/her wife/husband and/or guest/s (refer to VII.3 titled "Registration Fee" for specifics).

Fuentes. All Western Union transactions will be deposited in the batch’ bank account by Abby and all deposits made to the batch’ bank account shall be publicly posted through this friendster account.

  3. Registration Fee

           On 12 September 2007’s meeting, the planning group resolved to collect P250.00 for registration and/or ENTRANCE FEE from each of the attending batchmates inclusive of the following:

           1. "Eat all you can" buffet;

           2. Two (2) drinks (beer, Coca-Cola or iced tea);

           3. A winning chance on raffle prizes; and

           4. One (1) t-shirt.

           Batchmates may be accompanied by husband, wife and/or guest/s and the same P250.00 entrance fee shall be collected from non-batch individuals inclusive only of the following:

           1. "Eat all you can" buffet; and

           2. Two (2) drinks (beer, Coca-Cola or iced tea)

           Exclusion from said fee by a batchmate shall be properly made and coordinated under V.2 titled "Adopt a Batchmate.".
