Hello batchmates,and to all organizers of our upcoming reunion!!I am impressed about the progress of the plans for our reunion..I just read about the updates and so far so good..keep it on!
Sorry Ian Mark, I kept silent for sometime,( silent man gyud ko ever..hehhe) ..I will attend hopefully soon..Well,this time I will not be silent but LOUD and CLEAR..Allow me to express my deeper thoughts and reflective thinking about the reunion..I have read clearly our objectives and I commend the body for you have set a good one..but there are some points that I haven’t find the relevance of our objectives.. i.e., the theme and the giveaways.
If Sir Leo Avila suggested us to remove the 2nd line of the theme.. “as it may spur negative reactions and may solicit legal notices”(if I may quote it from one of the recent updates), why not also replace the kind of giveaways–the condoms into a more meaningful and worth remembering one.. If these are not relevant to our objectives,then let’s think of something else that will prove the realization of the objectives we have set. This is just a comment and suggestion, I don’t mean anything most esp. to those who suggested it..
I.M.H.O (in my humble opinion),I know we are already adults and true enough after 15 years we have grown more mature.( hope so..) We may be loud to say that we knew this thing all along because we are adults. But this is not exactly what is our point in creating the reunion, right??..It may just sound funny and “lingaw” but I think it does not connote the true meaning of what everyone intends to be the kind of reunion we expect it to be. I believe that a mature adult knows WHEN and HOW to deal with this matter at an appropriate time. I think the reunion is not the appropriate time for bringing up everything including sexual issues just to prove that we are adults. Is this really the in thing for the reunion? I hope the organizers should ponder on this account…
Most importantly, I hope we will all enjoy our reunion with one whole celebration of “clean”fun,and camaraderie.
Guys!Let’s look back on our objectives and make it right! More power to all!!
