  20. Yoying Says:

To whom it may concern: Inquiry lng because i cannot possibly be present during meetings, are we really gonna be ABLE to raise 80,000.00 to target the venue’s amount? because as i have understood my math, target batchmates attendees should be at least 200 divided by 80T then tickets should be sold @ 400, right? since thirts arent also for free, how much is left intended for bar1 from the 250 tickets each? The remaining amount should then be shouldered by the overseas/domestic donations? Please dont get me wrong but may i ask, if we will just rent BAR1 for its venue & drinks alone, how much would it cost? Say, for example raffle prizes will be donated and/or we can find fellow batchmates who could cook/cater at a lesser price? Will it still gonna cost us 80T??? In fairness to its owner, im really not against the venue (well, ive never been there before & id love to experience its ambience), but what I am trying to address is that, the pressure is on the planning committee whom as I believed have also workloads to fulfill to target its actual amount…am I right on this?
I thought we are going to celebrate “Quincelebrasyon” as a “simple” gathering, reminiscing the 15 yrs that passed, not because this be an added burden to you guys who are making out of your way to express your deepest & sincerest request of soliciting funds.. and then for what? I received an email from abby and am very much willing to do so.. for the benefit of my batchmates, why not?
But what if 200 is far beyond your reach..what happens to the remaining amount?
But then again, mine is just an inquiry, if you guys be able to come up with a “worry free” reunion, blessed be thy GOD!
I hope the objective still remains that this be a kamustahan, business oppurtunities & moreso reconciliation..

  21. LaNgGa Says:

the comment above made by yoying was my opinion & inquiry which i asked her to post on my behalf since i cannot open friendster as often as possible..f y i.. as per yoying, abby did not sent her an email, only to me..hehehe

  22. IVAN Says:

AYAW MO KABALAKA KY AKO MO TAPAL ANA TANAN! bwahahaha!!!

  23. Gabee Says:

we received Ms. Ritchelle Galagar’s donation last night. (thru Ginny Valerio-Te)
Thank you! God bless always! :)

  24. Bugz Says:

    “FUNDS not just FUN”
Classmates, Batchmates, Organizers (from here and abroad)… Pleasant day!

I’d like to appeal to all of you who truly desire that our reunion be pushed through this December. This could be a possible chance for us to meet and get-together after 15 years– to see old friendly faces from our batch. It’s a great time to reminisce the good old days, recall wacky events, laugh at bloopers and rekindle friendships.

On this gathering, we have prepared everything for you, from the food, drinks, giveaways & door prizes, as well as the memorabilia shirts. All you have to do is to bring yourself in and enjoy the party.

However, we won’t be able to make this possible without enough funding. I know that there have been instances of misunderstandings and conflicts among the people behind the planning, but bottom line is, for the spirit of Christmas, it’s just a matter of putting ourselves back on the ground and just open our hearts, give whatever we could share to make this event a memorable one. Besides, it’s our moment! QUINCELEBRACION is the most-awaited gathering that we all shouldn’t miss.

What can you do? Well first, considering the current situation of the students in our alma mater, we can help them out in whatever way we can. A project that would uplift their status in life even just a little is already a big thing. The proceeds of QUINCELEBRACION could go a long way to change the lives of others. The working committee is doing its best to solidify this event.

Last Tuesday, December 04, 2007 some of our batchmates who are in the working committee visited our alma mater to post the streamer and invite some advisers on our upcoming reunion. The principal gave them the privilege to tour the campus. They learned that the same sound system used in school activities during our time is still the same old equipment they use until now. Imagine how nostalgic they are (or maybe they just don’t have a choice but to use it). Not only that, most of the students are contented with a little share of someone else’s baon—it’s a pity. The current principal expressed her positive outlook that our batch could extend and reach out to the students of our alma mater who are mostly less fortunate. We can do it! No matter how small or great our contribution would be, it’s pretty sure it will touch their hearts. Question is, are you going to take the challenge? Or will you just leave it to the rest? Think about it. We have been blessed in so many different forms and this is our chance to give something back.

For the information of all concern, tickets are almost sold-out. Sponsors have already given their pledge to support us in this endeavor. And we have also invited some of our advisers to join us in the celebration. Your presence & support is all we need… see you @ QUINCELEBRACION
